Tarantella was the first of Christopher Nolan's early short films, made in 1989 while he was studying at UCL. It was shot on Super 8 with Roko Belic, a childhood friend of Nolan's. The film was aired on Image Union, a PBS programme in Chicago, but is currently not available to the public.
Production
Throughout his childhood, Nolan had made films with Roko and Adrien Belic, borrowing their father's 8mm camera. This film was made in a similar way, but when Nolan was at university in London.
