Martin Donovan is an actor who portrayed Hap Eckhart in the Christopher Nolan film Insomnia. He is also set to appear in Tenet as Victor.
Donovan was born into an Irish American family and raised a catholic. He has appeared in numerous film and TV productions during his career, often collaborating with director Hal Hartley. In 1984 he married Vivian Lanko, an actress, and they have two sons together. He used to live in New York City but relocated to Vancouver, Canada.
