Marion Cotillard is a French actress who portrayed Malorie Cobb in the film Inception, and Talia in The Dark Knight Rises.
Born in Paris, the daughter of two actors, she began appearing in small roles in French films in the 90s. She then began appearing in larger roles, and in 2007 won an Oscar for her role as Édith Piaf in La Vie en Rose. One of Piaf's songs is featured heavily in Inception. In 2009 she appeared in Public Enemies, alongside Christian Bale.
