Karl Shiels (1972-2019) was an actor who played one of Jonathan Crane's thugs at Arkham Asylum in Batman Begins. His character told Crane he had heard Batman could disappear, and Crane answered that they were about to find out. He was the first of Crane's thugs to be taken out by Batman.
