John Nolan is an actor who appeared in films by Christopher Nolan.
In Following, he portrayed The Policeman. In Batman Begins, he portrayed Douglas Fredericks. He reprised the role in The Dark Knight Rises. John Nolan also appeared as the character in one of the Gotham Tonight news segments released to promote The Dark Knight, but did not appear in the film itself.
He is Christopher Nolan's uncle, and has been a stage and screen actor for many years. Most recently, he started a recurring role on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest, created by his nephew, Jonathan Nolan.
